Work for Slingbacks

My first day of work was good.
All nice even though I had to wake up really early.
Basically I was to coordinate the events, make sure it all went smoothly, go for tea breaks and lunch breaks and listen to seminars!

I'm sure the hardest bits have yet to come but all I can say is I might get a hang of this job after a while.
So much better then clearing dirtY plates....

The seminar I was at was about HR practice and the misconducts, how problems can be resolved, mistakes etc.
It was very interesting and enlightened me about the working politics bound to happen in a company.... Definitely useful information gathered.

Trainees basically pay few hundred dollars or more for the seminars and basically I, as an event coordinator, will be paying attention to both the seminar and trainees' food, air con, stationary, needs.. blah blah blah .. liase with hotel staff... collect stufs, end work and back to office and back home.

Imagine all that info and knowledge I would have gained from the seminars =)
useful to young baby like me!

I had my brand new Pedro sexy black Slingbacks with me.
Let me tell you, they were very sexy.

a) I love TALL,TALL heels (plus the metallic effect always make it look sexier)
b) I am IN LOVE with BLACK shoes
c) they were in snakeskin (although faux)
d) They had a nice cutting which eliminated the "fat look" my legs have, thus making them look slimmer.

HOWEVER....

THEY WERE SLINGBACKS.

Let me warn you ladies out there,
SLINGBACKS ARE EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!
For the fact that it usually has a very narrow front (doesn't help especially since i have broad feet).
The slings on the back are not very secure, no wait, not secure at all!
For every 1 step I took, the slings will slowly slide off from my ankle and down to my heels.
And every second, I will have to bend, lift my leg and lift that stupid sling back up again.
And this continued for another say 1155000000 steps taken later. haha.
ANNOYING.
plus, the front was so small and narrow it feels like someone was pounding my feet, hard.
It's not about the height of the shoes (fine they were 5 inch high)
but the security of the shoes that matters.

My other strappy 5 inch heels was the most comfortable shoes ever (i could run in them, no problem), but that's because they were securely strapped around my ankle.

I have 2 more slingbacks.
The first was a pair of black heels that was about 2 inch tall but about 2 size smaller (fine I know, stupid). You don't have to say anything... It was just as good as chopping my whole feet off.

The second one was a pair of very sexy red heels. It was in fierce red with gold linings.
It looked very, very nice.... that is until i wore them for a day long.....

MY toenails were almost dropping off!!!! no kiddings.

Those two slingbacks are rarely worn... although the previous black ones were NEVER worn agian~

hahaha so just one piece of advice...... Do not buy slingbacks unless you are sure you don't have broad (urrghh) feet like me and make sure they are a breeze to walk in, otherwise they would be a waste of money...
Same goes to any types of shoes.....
everyone have a different style. xoxoxo
