I have been thinking about having my own place for a while. Of course at this age not a two-storey penthouse yet, but I'm looking of more on a 1 master/ common bedroom option. Preferably somewhere near the CBD and of a budget of less then $1000 monthly max.
I have been searching through property gurus and there was a lot of choices to start with. Asking price of $750, condominium, without tenants (they are away I believe) which was quite reasonable.
About time I actually stand on my own feet and start living on my own and be independent.
What I notice about Singaporeans is that they all tend to live with their parents even at the age of 30! Unbelievable. I mean of course, I have no issues staying with my parents but I would like to be able to start to live on my own and really be independent and start paying for bills etc as I believe this will build on the growing up experience :)
However, this will not happen any time sooner.... Perhaps when I'm more stable with work as what they are offering me is quite substantial and I would be able to afford a rented room/house.
You know everytime I go to work, I will pass by Holland V because office is situated at Bukit Timah (far, I know. But not gonna be an excuse for me to work). And I have pass by this condo many times and I have to tell you, it was like love at first sight!!!!!!!!!
